Attention fiscally conservative residents, every ten years following the U.S. Census, a committee of five members convenes to redraw the County Commission district borders.  Until this year, Republicans have dominated this committee and have drawn fair and lawful districts.

The result of the Democrats controlling the process this year is a boundary map that is gerrymandered, hyper-partisan and will give control of the Commission to the tax and spend Democrats.  The Oakland County Republican Party is now part of a lawsuit to overturn this unlawful power-grab that endangers our “best run county” and AAA bond rating status.  
 
We need your help.  Please make the most generous contribution you can afford to enable OCRP to fight this attempt by the Dems to take over Oakland County.  We must be successful and overturn this new county district map and enable County Executive L Brooks Patterson to continue running a tight ship and protecting our way of life.
