Happy Spring from BRWC
Happy Spring! Wishing all our members a Happy Passover and Easter. It doesn't feel like Spring quite yet in Michigan, but we are grateful for this time of year!
The Bloomfield RWC began 2018 with two fantastic guests, Dave Agema in February and Ben DeGrow on March 22. Mr. DeGrow is the Director of Education Policy at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. He discussed public education funds and the best use of taxpayers’ dollars. In his presentation, he demonstrated that throwing more money to the school districts isn’t improving graduation and college readiness percentages. Check out the Gallery page for pictures of these two events.
Please join us on April 12, 2018 at 6pm for Wine and Coffee Tastings at The Maple Kitchen in The Maple Theatre, located in Bloomfield Hills. Bring a guest to join you and learn more about the Bloomfield Republican Women’s Club. You can register on this website by clicking the event link. Looking forward to seeing everyone for a fun-filled evening!
The Bloomfield and Birmingham RWCs, in cooperation with the Oakland County Republican Party (OCRP), will be hosting a late afternoon Tea, on April 24 from 5:30-7:30pm. The featured guest will be Republican Women’s Federation of Michigan President, Linda Lee Tarver and will celebrate the centennial of Michigan’s Suffrage. This will be held at OCRP Headquarters in Bloomfield Hills.
Finally, please make plans to attend our May event with Sydney Powell, author of Licensed to Lie - Exposing Corruption in the Justice Department. This dinner event will be held at the Heathers Country Club on May 17. For more information regarding Ms. Powell check out www.licensedtolie.com.
